SPECS Limited Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Edmonton, AB – SPECS Limited, the country’s leading provider of independent property damage and construction consulting services is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Ross as the new Chief Operating Officer.

In his new role, Andrew will oversee all aspects of the Appraisal Operations for SPECS Limited nationally. He will ensure that the best report quality, timelines and customer service in the industry are met, allowing SPECS to continue to set itself apart as the industry leaders in the Insurance Appraisal business in Canada. Andrew will also oversee the activities of the Sales and Marketing Department.

Andrew has worked in the insurance industry for over 23 years; has been involved in all aspects of insurance restoration work,  His 15 years of restoration experience  includes 5 years  as a project manager with a national restoration firm. Andrew has been with SPECS for over 8 years working from the Vancouver Branch. During his SPECS career he has fulfilled the roles of an appraiser, branch and regional manager and most recently as Director of Operations.  His experience at SPECS includes managing catastrophic losses in Slave Lake AB and the 2013 Calgary Flood.  Andrews’s strong knowledge of SPECS services, systems and procedures position him well for success in his new role.
