The generous spirit of STRONE and Itech employees has been clearly evident this December, with very successful toy and food drives.

The CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish – now in its 46th year – is the benefactor of STRONE and Itech’s bountiful toy haul.  Company branches donated toys for assigned age groups; ensuring children of all ages receive gifts this Christmas.

“The CHUM Christmas Wish has always been such an important part of Christmas for children in our community,” comments Wendy Williams, toy drive organizer and East GTA Office Administrator.  “You feel heartened, knowing that your donations are making a difference to so many children and their families.  We’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

Box loads of non-perishable food items have been delivered to Oakville Fire’s Station 7 to support their Christmas Food Drive.  Financial donations are also being made to local food banks in each STRONE and Itech branch area.

“The STRONE/Itech family has come up with many ideas on how to give back to the communities that we live and work in,” states Teresa Rennie, food drive organizer and HR Specialist.  “Local food banks are integral resources for those who face hardship, not only at Christmas, but throughout the year as well.  We’re very happy to help.”

STRONE and Itech are fortunate to be located in great communities throughout Ontario in Quebec.  We would like to wish our customers, friends, employees and their families the very best this holiday season and great success in 2013.
