The Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association (CIAA) is equipped to mobilize their Catastrophic Response Team to the affected communities as a result of the devastating events in Southern Alberta.

INSURERS are reminded they have instant electronic access http://ciaa-adjusters.ca/headlines.asp to independent adjusters when catastrophic events strain company resources.

The CIAA CAT Response Resource is an insurer’s gateway to independent adjusters who are professional members of CIAA.  Members participating in the program have five years of field experience dealing with property claims and have had a course in the scoping of property damages and/or have developed specific expertise as a result of time in the field.  These members are committed to serving the Insurers and the residents of Alberta in this difficult time.

This event highlights the importance of CIAA’s work with the Canadian Insurance Services Regulatory Organizations (CISRO) to achieve an expedited licensing process for the seamless mobility of adjusters in times of emergency.
