The CIP Society National Leadership Awards have been created to recognize achievement across Canada. The Leadership Awards recognize the industrys up-and-coming leaders as well as the established leaders. The award recipients are members whose personal qualities exemplify leadership through their passion for learning, their dedication to their profession, and commitment to their employer. These leaders are role models and mentors who demonstrate a natural ability to positively influence the people around them and cultivate leadership qualities in others. They have made a positive difference in their company and given back to the insurance industry and to the community where they live. And as a result, they are respected and admired by their peers and deemed to be persons of high personal integrity. The CIP Society has been advancing the education, experience, ethics and excellence of graduates of the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) programs for 10 years, said Peter Hohman, CEO and president, The Insurance Institute of Canada. It is fitting to complement The Societys development of these industry leaders with recognition of their achievements through the National Leadership Awards.
