Toronto, ON – June 2, 2011 — The Dominion, one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurers, is pleased to announce that they have officially launched new business submission using Brovada’s NexExchange product suite.

Beginning in May 2011, brokers have the capability to send Personal Lines Automobile new business directly from their broker management system in real time using CSIO XML standards. A second release for Personal Lines Property is scheduled to be delivered by the end of third quarter 2011.

The solution will provide brokers with a streamlined upload workflow whereby data is extracted from the Broker Management System (BMS), validated for accuracy and completeness and submitted directly to The Dominion’s Policy Administration System. Any errors or omissions are dealt with on a single, intuitive form making the solution fast and easy to use.

“This is a once and done submission process that will ultimately improve efficiency, convenience and accessibility; making it a superior alternative to other methods of submitting new business,” says Steve Whitelaw, The Dominion’s Senior Vice-President, Personal Lines and Business Solutions.

Brovada’s NexExchange portal-alternative is an award winning solution that provides turn-key connectivity. This allows brokers and carriers to interact in an automated fashion while providing enough flexibility to address the complexities of the policyholder’s needs. NexExchange provides an ‘out of the box’ solution for accepting inbound CSIO data streams, normalizing those streams, transforming and validating data, serving end-user data forms and feeding carrier backend systems.

“This strategic investment by The Dominion takes into account the brokers’ demand for a portal free approach,” says Karl Greenlaw, Founder and CEO of Brovada Technologies. “NexExchange’s portal alternative module eliminates the onerous page-navigation and data-rekeying that traditional portals suffer from. By utilizing NexExchange’s streamlined approach The Dominion executes on its commitment to the broker channel.”
