Wawanesa and Custom Software Solutions Work Together to Launch New Portal Functions

October, 2012 Virden and Winnipeg, MB – Custom Software Solutions Inc. (CSSI) and Wawanesa Mutual Insurance are pleased to announce the launch of Wawanesa’s Policy Transaction Engine (PTE) on its Broker Portal using CSSI’s I-Company software product.

The added Portal functionality is available in all regions in Canada (except Quebec) and allows Wawanesa brokers to log into the Wawanesa Broker portal and process new business and endorsements for both Auto and Habitational policies.

CSSI’s I-Company product is part of its Insurance Company suite of products which also includes I-Biz which Wawanesa launched in 2005 and now in use by over 250 of their Brokers. I-Biz transactions originate in the Broker’s BMS or rating system and allows for optimal integration.

The next step for Wawanesa was to extend this functionality to our Portal to allow all Brokers, not just the ones running certain BMS and rating systems, access to this system”  stated Chris Luby, Vice President, Marketing & Business Development.

Next steps include multi vendor connectivity to the PTE to allow improved integrations to the Portal from the different Broker BMS systems.
