Established in 1989, PREMIER is a managing general agent that administers more than 150,000 specialty insurance policies in Canada. Their team of more than 150 employees is distributed across the country with headquarters in Vancouver. PREMIER focuses on providing specialty solutions for hard to place commercial and personal risks. The company is also dedicated to building community within the industry through partnerships that recognize smaller brokers and nurture emerging professionals. In her announcement of this new partnership, Mo Kaur, President and Chief Operating Officer of PREMIER emphasized, “PREMIER is extremely proud to be a new national sponsor of WICC. We chose to support WICC because it’s recognized as the Canadian Cancer Society’s largest non-institutional fundraising organization. While WICC initially focused on breast cancer, its mandate has since far expanded to encompass prostate and all other types of cancer. Supporting cancer awareness, education, and research through WICC ensures that our donation has one of the best chances of making a difference for a cause that has directly or indirectly hit many of our friends and families, affecting people of all ages. PREMIER will remain committed to this sponsorship with integrity and professionalism working towards making a difference in the fight against cancer. This partnership provides a significant opportunity for PREMIER and all our employees to support and engage in a meaningful cause. We are proud to have been welcomed to be part of this incredible community.” In his welcome to the newest National Sponsor to WICC, Ontario Co-Chair Garth Pepper said, “We are thrilled about this new partnership with PREMIER. Their support underscores how the insurance industry is stepping up to fund important research, education, and awareness.
