MGB Claims Consultants announces acquisition of ProFormance Group Insurance Solutions

MGB Claims Consultants Inc. announced on Wednesday that it has acquired ProFormance Group Insurance Solutions Inc. “as part of an overall strategy for expansion to better service our clients and strengthen our presence in both the Lloyds of London and Canadian marketplace.”

Based in Pickering, Ont. and founded in 2008, ProFormance Group provides third party administration and adjusting services to the insurance industry, MGB said in a press release. “Known for their strong brand reputation, quality policies, and presence in the London market, ProFormance’s values and mission align with MGB’s existing culture and growth plan,” MGB said in the press release.

Toronto-headquartered MGB noted that bringing ProFormance into the fold will help strengthen and expand their existing TPA Division.

Founded in 2010, Malik, Giffen & Burnett (MGB) Claims Consultants Inc. was “formed on the belief that a specialized adjusting firm is a unique and desirable option for the commercial, industrial and specialty risk insurance market,” the press release said.

As a boutique firm, MGB is committed to being responsive, effective and providing a quality product, the release said, adding that international insurers have come to rely upon MGB’s strong team of specialized adjusters.

“By strengthening our footprint and expanding our TPA capabilities, MGB will continue to be a provider of choice for the property and casualty market,” the company said.
