In Memory of (April 01, 2001)

With great sadness S.J. Kernaghan Adusters Ltd. announces the passing of Gerry LeFort, the company’s Halifax branch manager. He died peacefully in hospital on February 25, at the age of 56. Gerry began his career in 1963 as an adjuster and later senior claims examiner with a Lloyd’s of London broker in Montreal. In 1973 he opened his own private investigation business, then in 1978 moved to Halifax as an adjuster for Continental Insurance Company, later moving to the company’s Toronto office. He joined Kernaghan Adjusters in 1987. CU extends its sympathies to Gerry’s family, as well as his friends and colleagues at Kernaghan Adjusters. Anyone wishing to make a memorial donation can do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
